Large part of the 'Dr Stamen Grigorov' Foundation activity is related with projects realized on the territory of Trun Municipality. A long-term programme for collaboration between Dr Stamen Grigorov Foundation and Trun Municipality is developed and has been under realization. The programme aims at renaissance of the region in the main field as follows:
 Renaissance of the famous Busintsi pottery school, creation of modern creative basis in Busintsi museum for all-year usage by science and artistic people as well as to attract the local tourism.
 Interaction between Foundation and the Municipality to solve social and ethnic issues in the field of education, health care and the future cultural and economical development of the region;
 Assistance of the local policy via development of programmes with which the municipality staff to receive facilitation in order to create positive image of the administration at the same time to provide transparency in the work of the local administrative body;
 Advertising Dr Stamen Grigorov's work and his discoveries in the field of microbiology; final building of his house as a center fro cultural and scientific activities and the last but not least - as an attraction in the tourist programmes in Trun region.
